So I am thinking about blogging...JUST THE FACTS

I am in a new season of life.  I have some spare time as an ‘empty nester’.  But what to blog about?  I guess what has been on my mind the most what I believe is big division in out country over politics, but also how so much I read and hear about is from people on the coasts.  I have actually heard my beloved Midwest as ‘flyover states’.  Hence the name.

I feel like the Midwest, and dare I say, ‘middle of the road’ voters are not being engaged.  Another one of my frustrations is how BOTH the left and the right media seem so skewed in what they report. Maybe I can find that middle ground?  Maybe I can dig in and see if there is such a thing as ‘just the facts’.  If you happen to find this post and know of a resource that does stick to the facts, or at least makes it easy to ferret them out from opinion, drop me line or leave a comment.

But first, I am heading out to Washington (the state) to hike Mount Rainier.  I am hiking with fitpacking.com.  Loved the hike and their guides last year when I hiked the Grand Canyon.  I will be back mid-September.  I think the hiking time will be a good time for me to come up with a plan and determine what type of resources I will need to dig up ‘just the facts’.
